The Scottish band Simple Minds and the Brazilian, Pitty, will perform on 28th July in the Algarve Stadium, marking the first performance of  "Algarve Rocks", a festival organised by Premier World and sponsored by the Councils of Loulé and Faro.

 

The bill will incude another international artist or group, to be confirmed shortly.

 

The show begins at 19.30hrs with a performance from Pitty, who recently performed at Rock in Rio.

 

Pitty will be followed by the performance of an international band, yet to be announced, at 21.00hrs.

 

The group topping the bill, Simple Minds, takes to the stage at 22.30hrs.

 

Tickets will be on sale at Tourism Posts of the RTA, FNAC, on the internet at ticketline.pt, plateia.iol.pt, at Corte Inglês and the Algarve Stadium, costing 40 euros for the Eastern and Western stands and 35 euros for the Southern stands and grass.

 

Similar to other great musical events in the Stadium, the spectators will find the venue "dressed for rock", where there will be the usual food, drink and merchandising stands
