Ayamonte's Sporting Finest

At the end of the month, in the  Audiencia Jiménez of our city, the 'Ayamonte's Sporting Finest' prize-giving ceremony for the Best Sportsmen of the Year will take place.  This is a special event this year as it commemorates the 20th Anniversary of the Municipal Patronage of Sports of Ayamonte. 

 The awards on this occasion are - apart from the special mentions - (Ayamonte F.C.; CD San Diego; Tennis Team Captain; Golf Club; Fishing Club Door of Spain and honourable mentions for the Machon Blanco Guardia Sportsmen, Jose Maria Merchan (Triathlon) and Antonio David Jiménez Pentinel (Athletics) in this 20th Finest Sportsmen Section.  The Sporting Record Section goes to Luis Conception Garcia (Shotput) and Miguel Aponte Moro (Motocross). The 'Sport Legend' goes  to Jose Martín Carnacea, for his dedication to Soccer.  The Sport Dedication Section to Rubén Master Master (Athletics and Soccer). The Sport Management  award goes to Ayamonte Tennis Club.   The Sport Support Section goes to the following organizations for their assiduous backing of sport with sponsorship and support for the sporting activities of our  city's clubs - our own Patronato Municipal de Deportes, Isla Canela S.A. Viewpoint of the Guadiana and Conserjería de Turismo, Commercio y Desportes of the Junta de Andalucia.

This sporting projection encourages the recognition of the capacities and continuing successes of our young sportsmen, such as: Juan Miguel Gey (Judo), Dew Jiménez (Athletics) and Maria Martin Ruiz (Soccer).  In the Sport Promotion Section - to the Esury Chess  Club and, finally, the protagonist of this inaugural season who has been designated the Best Sportsman of the Year, Jose Maria Perez Rodriguez (Triathlón).
