You can most easily reach AYAMONTE from Faro airport, located 60 km along the neighbouring Algarve coast of Portugal which is a car, bus, taxi or train journey of an hour or less or, from the next nearest, Seville airport which is 150 km away by fast, direct, motorway and also by bus service. This journey lasts around 2 hours more or less.
New UK-Faro flights
The Scottish low-cost airline, Flyglobespan.com, has announced a new route between Durham Tees Valley and Faro from the beginning of April, 2007.
Initially, there will be 2 flights a week on Tuesdays and Sundays, with an additional flight on Fridays to be added at the end of June.
The starting price for this return journey is 59.99 pounds sterling (90 euros) including taxes.
This is the 4th route to Faro being offered by the airline, which operates services from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
