XXVIII Festival Internacional de Danzas de Villablanca
The XXVIII Festival Internacional de Danzas de Villablanca, will be held in and around Villablanca from the 2oth to the 27th of August. Events will occur not only in Villablanca but also in the towns of Palma del Condado, San Juan del Porto, Cala, Zufre, Aljaraque,Palos de la Frontera, Punta Umbria,Nerva, Puerta Moral,Villanueva de los Castillejos, Zalamea,La Redondela,Villarrasa, Tavira, Chucena,Higuera de la Sierra,Bonares and Isla Cristina.

Australian Ruth Frith is not one for sitting at home knitting or playing bridge, she is far more likely to be found on the sports field competing in athletics. Police Probe New Madeleine Sighting
After exactly 3 months since she disappeared, Police in Belgium are investigating a possible sighting of Madeleine McCann and have released an identikit drawing of a man she may have been seen with. A spokeswoman said the sighting had come from a child therapist. "She was 100% sure it was Madeleine and is a trusted witness. She works with children and noticed something unusual. She said the woman spoke English and the man was Dutch. She said they were acting strangely." A police spokesman said they were treating the sighting "very seriously".

Actor guilty of downloading child pornography
The award-winning actor and writer Chris Langham was under suicide watch in jail after being convicted of downloading child pornography. The jury at Maidstone Crown Court took less than three hours yesterday to find him guilty of 15 counts of making an indecent photograph. Each offence carries a maximum sentence of ten years in jail. The Bafta-winning star of the BBC political drama The Thick of It was cleared of having sex with an underage girl, who claimed that he took her virginity when she was aged 14.
